Artistic Associate
Jamie Nesbitt
The Virtual Stage is extremely pleased to welcome Jamie Nesbitt on board as Artistic Associate for its 2006/7 season. Jamie recently emerged as a graduate of Studio 58 as a solid and promising theatre practitioner, with talent in many areas of the craft.
His acting credits include: Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile (H.I.T.S), Randy in The Subtleties of Love and Terror (Bravo!), collective creator in Spark (Theatre Replacement) and many characters in Accounts of the Common Place (Studio 58). Directing credits include: three short films, Assistant Director for The Ant and the Grasshopper for Wild Indigo Summer Theatre, and Assistant Director for The Leisure Society (Ruby Slippers) -- which one Jessie awards for outstanding direction and outstanding production. Design credits include: Video Designer for Carnage (Pi Theatre), Assistant Scenographer for Studies in Motion (Electric Company), Video Designer for The Skinny Lie and Speed (Green Thumb Theatre).
Jamie is currently Artist in Residence at Pi theatre.
